Baby steps as I ease back into regular yoga for 2018.
How are your promises to yourself going so far?
For the record, I began on January 2nd, following a 30-day series on YouTube.
And why? There are several reasons.
Because although I sometimes dread it, I always feel better afterward.
Day three was all about balance. That's a reminder that it's yoga 'practice.'
It's not just balance while standing on one foot, but seeking balance in the thoughts that clutter our minds every day.
Flexibility. Again, not just in the body, but the mind, too.
And posture. Regular yoga work leads naturally to better posture.
I don't know about you, but I have serious desk slouch.
