Roxx's Session Chatter

Bonefish Grill, 9th and Broad Street in Boise

  • Print

As a little side-note, if you haven't checked this place out in BoDo, you must! I have a friend who says to me, "quit saying BoDo," 'cuz it drives her nuts. BoDo, BoDo, BODO! There. Now, get to Bonefish and let them spoil you. This is where MARC BROUSSARD eats every time he performs in Boise. Most of the original waitstaff still works there, how many places can you say that about? If you're a foodie, this is the place you've been searching for. Bonefish uses fresh, local produce. Their creative staff can concoct specialty drinks, custom meals, and vegetarian dishes by request. Bang Bang shrimp appetizers are something you'll be addicted to after the first bite. Take a friend and share a bowl Ceviche. Chilled tender bay scallops, shrimp and fresh fish come together with avocado, peppers, citrus and cilantro, served with warm tortilla chips. They have perfected barbecuing fish on planks of soaked cedar wood, the smoked flavor is amazing! They have so much more than fish, too. Fontina chicken, Kobe beef burgers, fillet mignon, and an ever-changing specials menu so you can go often and try different things. I'd suggest a couple hours set aside for proper dining at Bonefish, not a quick "grab and go" before the movie or concert around the corner at the Knitting Factory. Settle in, be present, and enjoy every flavor they have invented for you. Ready for this? THEY TAKE RESERVATIONS! That is a rarity in Boise. Get to Bonefish and mention you heard about them on The River.  855 W Broad St,  call 433-1234. Now, just take a peak at the Bonefish Menu.
